I found a discussion about One Down, One Up on the Sax On The Web site.

See http://forum.saxontheweb.net/archive/index.php/t-35864.html

The first contributor believes its an AABA tune with concert Ebmi played for the A section and Dbmi for the B section.

The contributor who says he knows the tune says that its based on the scale Bb. B,D,Eb,F#,G transposed for Bb tenor.

Transposed to concert key, that scale would be Ab,A,C,Db,E,F In construction this scale is the Ab augmented triad and the A augmented triad melted into one scale. In concert key, this scale contains A, Db and F major triads, plus the Ab augmented and A augmented triads.
