Chord progression for Wes Montgomery's West Coast Blues. Tune is in 6/8 meter. The progression during the first repeat is what is played while the melody plays. The progression used during the second repeat is used for solos. In the solo changes, Montgomery has substituted an alternate chord sequence for the later half of the blues to add to the performance's harmonic variety. In this MIDI rendition, we repeat the changes of the melody three times before using the solo changes for all further repetitions.
