Music Forecast: 12-15-2008

In this forecast:

Reverend Gary Davis sings his "Twelve Gates To The City".

Ornette Coleman's Quartet with Don Cherry, Charlie Haden and Billy Higgins perform "Lonely Woman".

Abbey Lincoln sing Left Alone with a band that includes Coleman Hawkins and Eric Dolphy. This was written for Billie Holiday by the pianist on this recording, Mal Waldron, who frequently accompanied Billie in the late 1950's.
