So if one were to submit a simple guitar arrangement but leave off the top note, that is the melody, we would escape capture by the copyright cops?  I'll try a chorus of 'Blue in Green' first chance I get.  Since my midi guitar is busted I'll just type up a midi file.  I also have a chord head to 'Giant Steps' if anyone is interested.
