I can't allow melodies on the site yet, until there's a way to charge for them so that the proper licensing fees can be paid for the use of a composition. I can't affford to be a copyright scofflaw. The penalties that come into play are very severe. Chord progressions and their arrangements are not copyrightable. Include more than a scrap of the original melody or use features of a famous arrangement though and  I'll be on the hook.

I am starting to think about how to add e-commerce facility to the site to make it possible to charge for MIDIs of complete tunes, but this will take quite a long time to set up. Once we are able to charge for tune usage then I would be very kindly disposed towards providing complete arrangements via SongTrellis.

Despite these restrictions,  it might be useful to have an arrangement made that transposes a tune's chord progression into a key that makes it physically easier to realize and which uses chord voicings that most guitarists of modest skill can play.
