Charles Thank you I will try that. I am going into the studio to record next month 8,9,10th. I am doing an album of tunes made famous by Coltrane, Afro Blue-I want to talk about you, etc; The reason that Coltrane chose "Say it over and over again." is not only the great chord structure but the bridge is just so full of space that it has the mystique of creating it's own shape, at least that's what I hear. Also what relation does Misty have to I Want To Talk About You I ended up combining both chord sequences. ie the first chord of Misty is F. Your first chord of "I want to talk about you." Is Eb. I combined both where I could so that the first chord of my arrangement reads Eb over F bass. This works very well and I have done my chart in live performance. Question is, is this a sort of 'menionic' pattern that you have talked about elsewhere on song trellis. Thank's.
