Hello Joe - how about Smoke Gets In Your Eyes.  Pretty much the same idea as the first 2 bars of Pennies, but in this case squashed into 1 bar (that is, a new chord every beat, the sort of thing cocktail pianists like to do on ballads).  Tell me what you think.  If you want to experiment further, try the same trick on Long Ago And Far Away.

Don't you just *love* chord substitutions...??
