We received a thank you today from a vistor to the site who said they had not understood the difference between major and dominant 7ths until they went through the new chord lesson. It really makes me glad to hear this since the explanation on chord types in The Lessons is pretty bare-bones.

Assuming that there will be others who need to hear about this, I added a section to the dominant 7th chords lesson this evening that explains the differences of musical meaning between these chord types.

Please ask questions about anything discussed in the lessons that puzzles you. I do a better job when you do.
