I've composed three new tunes over the last month, all with provisional titles. All three are rhythmic adventures: Real Time 9/15/00, Rhumba 8/25/00 , and Running 8/27/00.

When I composed Real Time 9/15/00, I took MIDI file snapshots of the composition as I composed it on the afternoon of September 15th. If you look at the discussion group for 9/22/00 , and start at the bottom the list and work backwards you can follow the tune's development every five or ten minutes as I wrote it. I did this to demonstrate some of the ways the SongTrellis Music Editor can help you compose. I should have a commentary on the whole process posted later today.
