1-What means MODAL for you?

2-What is MODAL JAZZ for you? Do you believe is a relative concept or do you believe exists a complete modal jazz?

3-How many kinds of Modal jazz styles exists?

4-How (in your words) does the ear to identify the difference between the modal and tonal? What is the difference to an EAR wich don't know the academic concepts?

5-How does an inexpert ear to identify between a COMPLETE MODAL SONG and a song wich is just using

substitutions or

altered notes on basic chord progressions or

harmonic superpositions(to get color)?

...How does to identify that an expert musician by ear?
