I must confess to being mystified by this chart. (1) It cannot serve any purpose to anyone who wants to know the actual chord changes, and does not accomodate much of the melody. (2) the first 2 "chords" imply the key of C, but it's really in F. (3) Using the IV triad (Bb) instead of the ii (Gm7) makes it sound more like something a young 'n'r band might have done with it. (4) The designation of "alt" has never meant anything specific to me. An alteration could be b5, #5, b9, #9, b13, or any combination of those. I've generally only seen "alt" in very old and inaccurate fake books. Besides that, the chord spelled out for C7 alt is really Ab(add9). (5) The use of the major 7th (although not designated as such) in bar one makes a strong clash with the "do" melody (especially when the two notes shown give no hint of the melody note) Please don't do that to singers. (6) This same problem is amplified in bar 9 with an Am chord where the melody is a long F note, which is not in the chord and, again, clashes with the E note. (7) Bar 11 has a IV chord (Bb) replacing the I chord F); the melody note is C. (8) Bar 13 shows C7#5, creating a terrible clash between the G# in the chord and the A melody note. (9) Bar 21 (in the bridge) shows F#m7b5, clashing with the G melody note. (10) Bar 31 shows Edim, clashing with the F melody note.
