What's the key of a song? A SongTrellis visitor sent me an email that said "I'm confused by the key of a song, the reason it exists and what it means". He also asked "Is it - the scale that works with all the chords in the song? Example : CDEFGABC as the Song key, Then I would create a progression like I IV V I = C F G C.
