Anthony, my source for these changes was a score of Cannonball's improvisation. I misread it and thought it was a 16 bar form. I should have checked my arrangement against the performance.

In Cannon's first chorus, the rhythm section plays the entire 32 form. For his second chorus they repeat the first 16 bars of the form twice, omitting the fast sequence of ii-Vs. Because of that, I treated it as a 16-bar form played twice.

I also have to admit that I left the orginal score in the transposed key for Eb alto. The posted changes are now in concert key.
