This is chord progression for Sweet Pea, an elegy which mourns the death of composer Billy Strayhorn. Strayhorn's nickname within the Duke Ellington Orchestra, which recorded most of his work, was Sweet Pea.

This was first recorded by the Miles Davis Quintet in 1967, and was finally released by Columbia Records in the late 1970s on the album Water Babies.
