The John Coltrane Quartet (John Coltrane, soprano sax, McCoy Tyner, piano, Jimmy Garrison, bass, and Elvin Jones, drums) performing Mongo Santamaria's Afro-Blue, recorded in 1963 for a San Francisco public television program "Jazz Casual" that was hosted by Ralph J. Gleason. Gleason's leaning on the piano at the back of the set, smoking his pipe throughout the performance.
