Hello Dave,

thanks a lot! This is nearly the same as my interpretation. I am taking jazz bass lessons now, after playing 20 years bass in rock and cover bands ( i am 48 now). My teacher had a different view but I was nearly sure that his analysis was not quite correct.

Songtrellis is a great source for me now and I am happy I happened upon it.
