Grahame,

Very ineresting tale about summer samba and I've never heard of the other tune !

Now,   speaking of  A. C. Jobim,    for fun try playing  Corcovado beginning with a  D7 / A  .... this ends in a C6 but don't stop there.  Just continue bopping the C6 straight in as the lead chord to his  ' Meditation '  and play this all the way thru to it's snapping little wind up.

Melded back to back like this,  they make for an interesting extended number.  Great sport and I now rarely play one without the other.   Let us know what you think.

Last,  I'll check with  B  on  'Namely You '  and get back if he has anything to add.

 Regards,  Chas
