We definitely can do what we want on the blues. And actually there's no problem with adding a bass, drums and comping patterns to any of the chord progressions listed on SongTrellis. We just have to make sure that we are not copying ideas from a copyrighted arrangement. Since most of the additional arrangements will be emitted by a computer program it will be hard to demonstrate copying even if there are incidental coincidinces that pop out.
