One final note on the exercises.  I go through them slowly first pass...one chord at a time.  Then I go back and jazz the hell out of them with my right hand.

 Again,  my left-hand pains have stopped and my knowledge of the guitar neck has increased greatly as well.

 I'm eager for feedback from fellow guitarists.   Chas
