Monk's obituary

I was googling this morning invoking Thelonious Monk's name. The search came back with the 1982 obituary for Monk in the New York Times. The obit is written by John S. Wilson who knew Monk's music really well. A great summary of his life.

You know I hold Thelonious in high regard. We curently list 32 of his tunes in The Changes.
